Pricing
EduVixa doesn't set one price for every lesson — tutors set their own hourly rate, and you see the exact price before you ever book. That said, pricing on EduVixa isn't a free-for-all either.
Tutors set their own rate
Every tutor's hourly price reflects their own experience, qualifications, and subject — an established tutor with years of specialized experience will typically price higher than someone newer to teaching. You'll see each tutor's rate, years of experience, and reviews side by side on their profile, so you can judge for yourself whether the price matches what they offer.
But pricing is reviewed, not a free-for-all
Every tutor application — including the rate a tutor proposes to charge — goes through EduVixa's review process before their profile goes live. This keeps pricing across the platform in a reasonable, defensible range for the experience being offered, rather than letting prices drift to whatever a tutor feels like charging on a given day.
Trial lessons
Every tutor relationship starts with a trial lesson at a fixed, low introductory price set by EduVixa — the same for every tutor — so you can find the right fit before committing to a full subscription at that tutor's regular rate.
Subscriptions
Once you've found a tutor you'd like to keep learning with, you can subscribe to a weekly plan at their hourly rate — choose how many lessons per week you want, and change or cancel the plan anytime from your dashboard.
No hidden fees for students
The price you see on a tutor's profile is the price you pay — EduVixa's fee is deducted from the tutor's side, not added on top of your booking.
